After purchasing Icon in 2017, Zach has jumped into the signage industry with both feet. As owner of Icon Sign, Zach provides the entrepreneurial vision and direction necessary for the growth of the company. An experienced salesman, he has brought many new challenges and opportunities to the team.
Zach spends his free time with this family (wife, Andrea and kids, Amelia and Henry). Zach is involved in various community organizations and plays golf as much as possible.
Ted joined the Icon team in 2016 after a career in the pet food industry. Since joining Icon, he had worked through various production and office rolls. Ted ensures files are set up correctly to print, orders products and materials and updates our CRM system for consistent pricing.
When Ted is not at work, he spends his time on various home improvement projects, making music and working out.
With over 20 years of experience in signage, Josh has worn every hat there is to wear (from production, to design, to sales) and he has seen it all. Josh now leads installation with passion and expertise . He uses his creativity and experience to hang signs, install graphics and everything else.
When he’s not making sign dreams a reality, Josh works late nights in his studio pursuing other creative passions, including music, woodworking, and painting.
After graduating from GVSU with a degree in marketing, Samantha has jumped into the role of Account Management and Administration. She is rapidly mastering the signage industry and all the products and production techniques. Samantha strives to make sure each and every order is handled to exceed her customers expectations.
Growing up in Florida, Samantha loves the seasons that are in West Michigan. When not working, Samantha enjoys spending time outside, traveling with friends, and with her cat Oswald.
Paco started in 2019 after working at other print shops in the area where he did everything from print operating to prepress to account management. Paco specializes in operating the flatbed printer and maintaining the machine but jumps in with roll-to-roll printing, laminating, installation and anything else that needs to be done. He comes to work everyday with a "can-do" attitude and is always looking to expand his printing experience.
Paco immerses himself in the cosplay world and has perfected his costume making and leather work.
Icon Sign Company was founded in 2004 by James Mikrut from his basement. Fast forward to today, we’re now a company of talented individuals with projects located all over Michigan, both large and small. Our toolbelt is ever-expanding and so is our quest for knowledge in all things print, signage, and graphics.
